I know, I know.
I have NO business thinking I can do video!
I belong behind the keyboard! It’s where us introverts who tend to blurt out inappropriate comments (that seemed totally appropriate and even witty when in our heads but just somehow come out wrong with a frustrating degree of regularity) belong. LOL!
But I honestly can’t help it and I think this could be a fun way to connect with you all on a different level. So I came up the idea of a regular video series called “THREE THINGS” where each week I share three products, services, or thoughts that I am currently loving!
I promise I’ll get better with practice (that’s what she said! Wait…maybe that ones a stretch?)
So here is a RECAP:::
THING #1: My new favorite foundation
I am absolutely in love with NARS’ new foundation Velvet Matte Skin Tint. (I use color “St. Moritz Medium 1)
- A little goes a long way…I just use a small dollop and it spreads so evenly.
- SPF 30 (us older chicks appreciate this)
- Natural coverage that doesn’t fade (my biggest complaint with many BB creams is that I felt I needed to re-apply every day around 2pm. Not this stuff. Still great matte coverage in the afternoon!)
Thing #2: Easy way to try new jewelry
I am sure that many of you have already heard of Rocksbox. Well, I realized that my jewelry collection was pathetic and I needed some help in this arena.
So Rocksbox is basically a subscription service like Birchbox but for jewelry…where you fill out a style profile and then they send you 3 pieces that are inline with your preferences (I typed in that I prefer pieces that are “edgy” and “modern” and they kinda nailed it)!
You can wear them and see what you like and then send back any pieces you don’t want.
OHH!! And you can get a FREE MONTH with the code “marionberryxoxo”
If you decide to try it, please let me know what you think!! 🙂
Thing #3: Theme for the month of May
Let’s stop waiting for “someday” to celebrate the little things.
- Break out that sexy lingerie tonight.
- Open up that bottle of Chateauneuf du Pape on a Wednesday night just because.
A special occasion is only a moment of time that we CHOOSE to make special. It’s not necessarily dictated by circumstance. We can decide to make a moment special 🙂
Thanks so much for reading/watching!!
